About Us
The Aussie Wine Company was started when a South Australian called Dallas Coull worked in the Barossa Valley as a young boy and fell in love with the area and vineyards. In doing so he started a tour company called Groovy Grape Getaways and started to attract clients from the UK. Dallas moved to the UK and now lives with his wife and two children here in the UK and started the promotion of The Aussie Wine Company and pulled together the original group pf vineyards who were looking to supply to the UK in the middle and top end of the market and fine wines and boutique markets.
The one thing we have in common at The Aussie Wine Company is that it is a joy to find good wines and we have managed to do this throughout the price spectrum and the geographic spectrum of Australia. Myself and my wife Theresa have joined Dallas and Nikki as we feel there is a tremendous opportunity to bring some truly great Australian wines to the UK and to promote the excellence that we have found.
Our aim is to provide quality wines in each of the price brackets that you will find in the wine list and also to work with the dedicated and select group of vineyards who can provide the wines that you want but are not always available through the high-street.
Wine education is as simple as knowing what you like and the better wines you have to try gives you a better knowledge of what you really like. We will take you closer to the vineyards through the wines you choose and you can begin to enjoy and join us in promoting these fine Australian wines here in the UK.
Our aim is to give you the very best and with your help and support we will do this and along the journey we shall all drink some great wines and have some great stories to tell in following the pursuit of excellence whatever pocket you may have.
